Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon (PHFO) is the nonprofit founded by the Oregon Hunger Task Force in 2006 to actively support and complement its work. Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon envisions a state where everyone is healthy and thriving, with access to affordable, nutritious and culturally appropriate food. To bring that vision into reality, they raise awareness about hunger, connect people to nutrition programs and advocate for systemic changes that end hunger before it begins.
By providing leadership in developing strong and diverse collaborations across the state, and by pursuing funding for specific initiatives to address hunger in Oregon, PHFO helps the Task Force carry out their plan to end hunger.
